Step-by-Step: Pointing Your Domain Nameservers to AmanaFlow

Verified Knowledge
Quick Summary: To connect your domain, you need to log in to your domain registrar and update the "Nameservers" to AmanaFlow's custom ones (e.g., ns1.amanaflow.cloud). Propagation takes 1-24 hours.
Step 1: Find Your AmanaFlow Nameservers
When you signed up for hosting, you received a Welcome Email. Inside, you will find your assigned nameservers. They usually look like this:
- ns1.amanaflow.cloud
- ns2.amanaflow.cloud
Step 2: Log in to your Domain Registrar
Whether you use Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google, or any other registrar, the process is similar.
- Find your Domain List.
- Click Manage or Edit on your chosen domain.
- Look for a section labeled Nameservers or DNS Settings.
Step 3: Update to Custom Nameservers
- Select "Custom DNS" or "Edit Nameservers."
- Delete any existing nameservers.
- Paste the AmanaFlow nameservers you found in Step 1.
- Save Changes.
Step 4: Wait for Propagation
This is the hardest part. The global DNS network needs to update.
- Local Propagation: 1-2 hours.
- Global Propagation: Up to 24 hours. You can monitor the progress at DNSChecker.org.
Pro Tip: Check your SSL
Once pointed, our AutoSSL system will automatically try to issue an SSL certificate. This usually takes about 30-60 minutes after the domain is correctly pointed.

FAQ
Q: Will my email stop working?
A: If you have existing email settings elsewhere, yes. You will need to recreate your mailboxes in cPanel or update your MX records.
Q: Can I just use an A Record instead?
A: Yes, but using nameservers is recommended as it allows us to manage all your DNS records in one place centrally.
